Conscious evolution of social systems and institutions

Some have suggested that this is a movement for the conscious evolution of increasingly conscious social systems. The fact is it includes the conscious evolution of all social systems and institutions which, we hope, will someday (or in the process) become increasingly able to consciously shape their own evolution in the context of all the others.
Below are some sectors within which we can be conscious evolutionaries! We were inspired in our explorations by Barbara Marx Hubbard's Synergy Sectors for conscious evolution:
- conscious evolution of built habitats and systems including architecture, community planning, landscape design and physical infrastructure
- conscious evolution of health care and our approaches to healing and wellness
- conscious evolution of institutionalized relationships where culture and law shape our roles and connections
- conscious evolution of basic life-support - our approaches to energy, food, and water
- conscious evolution of economics, business, industry, and trade and its relationship to human and natural life
- conscious evolution of science and research and its role in society
- conscious evolution of communications and media from the Internet and PDAs to television and radio to books and magazines to movies and conference calls.
- conscious evolution of politics, governance, and law including not only the policies and laws, but how we make, implement, and enforce them, as well as new approaches to self-governance not grounded in law and force
- conscious evolution of security including human rights, privacy, welfare, peacekeeping, appropriate defense, emergency relief, disaster preparedness and response, etc.
- conscious evolution of education and learning systems including all schooling, training and life-long learning
- conscious evolution of religion so that it truly serves our aliveness, our metaphysical needs and our divine experience as humans in a living cosmos.
